The Acura TLX has received almost unparalleled coverage since the car’s unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show just a few short months ago. Touted as the most luxurious and appealing Acura, this new model is replacing the TSX and TL. Our friends over Autoblog.com were able to capture images of a nearly uncovered version of the car, which typically indicates production readiness.

When vehicles reach the stage of production, they have sometimes been altered so much that it is merely a vestige of the concept design. Allow us to take a moment and quell your fears, for the Acura TLX recently spotted appears nearly identical to the prototype that garnered such attention and excitement. As you look at the vehicle, you’ll notice only two changes: the lower LED lamps are replaced by fog lights and some of the chrome accents are no longer present – giving the car a slightly more subdued look. It does, however, have all of the sharp curves and lines that make it a visually striking vehicle.
All of the recent activity from Acura is to prepare for the upcoming New York Auto Show, where the production version of the TLX will debut.
